Case of the Monday's


We all dread Monday's for one reason or another if you say you don't, well I will tell you I find that hard to believe. LOL Why do we start to obsess Sunday night ahhh I wish it were still Saturday, I just need one more day just one. Why do we think and wish it?? Well this is exactly why.

  • 7:15am  Wake up and wipe the sleep from eyes
  • 7:30am  Wake up 2 sleeping school aged angels (because they are all angels when they sleep)
  • 7:35am  Prepare breakfast and serve to kids /arrange backpacks with snacks while kids eat
  • 7:45am  Time to make sure everyone has everything and everyone uses restroom before school
  • 7:50am  You should be on your way out the door BUT 5yr old informs you I peed on myself??!
  • 7:55am  You're unsure what just happened but a quick solve, change child's clothes to dry ones make sure pee did not affect socks and pull out high-water pants because you decided to wash all kids jeans last night, still in washer BTW
  • 8:00am   All clothed children out the door and on the way to the bus of Meme
  • 8:10am  Wake sleeping angel baby
  • 8:15am  Get baby changed and ready for day
  • 8:16am  Baby throws bottle in your face and struggles to get ready
  • 8:30am  Baby finally dressed and you can go to your appointment 
  • 8:32am  You grab your 4 bags you have packed for appointment and baby all bags falling out of hands
  • 8:33am  Pick up dropped bags and try again
  • 8:34am  Load baby in car buckle securely and close door and load your 4 bags in car
  • 8:36am  You are finally all in car only to remember you left the house unlock?!?
  • 8:40am  Drive away on way to appointment look back at baby and he is giving you this crazy look of "are you serious lady, did you even brush your hair today?"
  • 9:00am  Get to appointment 
  • 10:00am Clean kitchen from night before "not that kind of night before" 
  • 10:45am Get crockpot meal already and cooking
  • 11:00am Try to get your actual stuff done around the house
  • 1:55pm  Pick up kids from school
  • 2:15pm  Get snacks for kids and go back to the job you get paid for
  • 5:00pm  Hubby finally off of work yay Dad to the rescue?!!!
  • 5:30pm  Finish last minute dinner stuff
  • 6:00pm  Serve dinner
  • 6:30pm  Feels like 8pm is it bedtime yet? 
  • 9:00pm  Where did the time go all kids in bed
  • 9:30pm  Tomorrow will be way better, wait did I shower today????


Rinse and repeat LOL the day and life of a working mom
